We are all special and unique
In how we talk, and act, and think
Sometimes our brains work differently
And it's so cool, don't you agree?
We're unique but we are one
We can still play and have fun
Love how different we can be
And be best friends, you and me
Some learn by working with their hands
Some learn through pictures in their heads
Some learn through music soft and low
Some kids learn best when things move slow
We're unique but we are one
We can still play and have fun
Love how different we can be
And be best friends, you and me
Sometimes the way we learn and see
Makes us act very differently
And it is beautiful to see
When we're still kind, don't you agree?
We're unique but we are one
We can still play and have fun
Love how different we can be
And be best friends, you and me
Sometimes your friend might need a hand
And you'll be there to understand
Hand in hand will take us far
Because we're perfect as we are
We're unique but we are one
We can still play and have fun
Love how different we can be
And be best friends, you and me
When we laugh and play together
Our heart and spirit shine right through
And no matter how our brains work
We see the light in me and you
We're unique but we are one
We can still play and have fun
Love how different we can be
And be best friends, you and me
