I Won’t Let Bullies Win

If someone's being mean at school, I know they must be sad
Something is happening at home that makes them act like that
I let their words pass by me, remembering this song
Hurt people do hurt others, but I did nothing wrong

If it happens again tomorrow, or maybe after that
It's not my pain to carry, and it won't make me sad
I'll find a grown-up I can trust and tell them what was done
Telling isn't tattling when I'm protecting someone
