About Gentle Giants Academy

Gentle Giants Academy is operated by Gentle Giants LLC. These terms describe the permitted use of our website and content, explain the status of our educational offerings, and address inquiries, participation, and licensing.

A separate written agreement may apply to a particular resource, teacher pilot, purchase, or license. Where that agreement addresses the same subject and conflicts with these terms, the specific agreement controls.

Our Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed.

Educational purpose and safeguarding

Our songs and educational resources support learning about body safety, grooming prevention, social-emotional development, and other childhood topics. They are educational materials, not individualized medical, mental health, legal, or child-protection advice.

The materials do not replace adult supervision, school safeguarding procedures, professional judgment, or applicable reporting obligations. No song or curriculum can guarantee a child’s safety or a particular educational outcome. Responsibility for protecting children remains with adults, and a child is never responsible for another person’s abusive behavior.

This website and its contact forms are not emergency services or channels for reporting suspected abuse. Do not delay seeking appropriate help while waiting for a response from us.

Adult-facing forms and communications

Our waitlist, teacher pilot, contact, and licensing forms are intended for adults, including parents, caregivers, educators, and organizational representatives.

Although our educational content is created for children, children should not submit personal information through these forms.

Please do not submit children’s names, photographs, recordings, school records, identifiable classroom observations, or detailed accounts of suspected abuse through our general inquiry or feedback forms.

Curriculum development and teacher pilots

Chapter One is in development and preparing for teacher piloting. Previews describe the planned program and do not mean that all resources are complete or available.

Joining a waitlist or submitting a pilot interest form does not constitute a purchase, confirm enrollment, reserve a place, or grant access to curriculum materials.

Selected educators may be invited to participate in a pilot at no charge in exchange for classroom feedback. Participation, permitted use of materials, and any additional requirements will be explained in a separate pilot agreement before materials are provided.

Future curriculum topics describe our educational vision and are not commitments to particular products or release dates.

Ownership and permitted website access

Gentle Giants LLC reserves the rights it holds in the original music, lyrics, recordings, curriculum text, and other protected materials made available through Gentle Giants Academy. Rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners.

You may view our public pages, listen through the players we provide, and share links to our public pages.

Public access does not transfer ownership or grant a general right to reproduce, redistribute, adapt, sell, sublicense, or incorporate our protected materials into another product, program, publication, or production.

Except where permitted by applicable law, an express resource license, or our written authorization, you may not copy or republish our protected content, distribute curriculum files to others, remove ownership notices, or present our work as your own.

Any downloadable resource is subject to the usage permissions supplied with it. Access to one resource does not grant access to, or permission to distribute, the full curriculum.

Curriculum and music licensing

Curriculum licensing and music licensing are separate arrangements. Permission to use a song does not automatically include permission to reproduce curriculum materials, and permission to use curriculum materials does not automatically authorize use of a recording in a film, advertisement, or other production.

Submitting an inquiry, receiving a proposal, or discussing a project does not itself grant a license.

Any license we issue will identify the materials and permitted uses it covers. Where applicable, it will also address users or locations, duration, distribution, modifications, fees, and other agreed conditions.

Nothing in these terms limits uses permitted by applicable law.

Feedback, testimonials, and submissions

Please provide only information you are authorized to share. Classroom feedback should describe the teaching experience without identifying individual children.

Submitting an inquiry or feedback does not, by itself, authorize us to publish your name, school name, quotation, photograph, or recording as a testimonial or endorsement. We will seek separate permission for those uses.

Any additional arrangements concerning pilot feedback or participant-created materials will be addressed in the applicable pilot agreement.

Email updates and inquiries

When you choose to subscribe, we may send the curriculum news, learning resources, and updates described at signup. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option provided.

Submitting a pilot or licensing inquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing emails. We may contact you to respond to the inquiry you submitted.

Information about our handling of personal information appears in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and future purchases

Website previews and development information may change as the program is refined. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access.

If paid resources become available, their price, delivery arrangements, permitted uses, and applicable cancellation or refund terms will be presented before purchase.

Changes to public website information do not override commitments made in a separate agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party services

Our website is hosted by Shopify and may link to or display content through third-party services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy practices.

Our Privacy Policy explains the relevant data practices associated with our website and its service providers.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms as our website and offerings develop. The revised version will identify its effective date. Changes will not retroactively alter a separate agreement unless that agreement permits the change or the parties otherwise agree.
